What this computes, and how it was checked
Planet positions come from a Rust port of the Swiss Ephemeris, compiled to run in your browser. The port matches the original C library to 0.001″ on a 202-instant test corpus; the browser build uses the built-in Moshier theory, which differs from the full ephemeris files by under 1″ for planets and under 2.3″ for the Moon across 1900–2100. Divisional charts and dashas were cross-checked against an independent implementation on 616 longitudes; panchanga end-times against an independent search to within half a second.
Every yoga carries the rule it applied and its classical source. Where traditions disagree — node type, house system, year length, sunrise convention — the setting is yours and the default is stated. Source and test corpus: github.com/Studylooping/mihira (AGPL-3.0).
Place search uses a table of 38,000 places from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0) that is downloaded with the app and searched on your device; the time-zone offset for the birth date comes from your browser's own IANA time-zone database. No search leaves the page.
